BARANOÄžLU EVI
A 300-square-meter, two-story luxury villa was designed for the BaranoÄŸlu family as their summer residence in Alaçatı, İzmir. The project encompassed a comprehensive renovation of the entire property, including the main living areas, bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, winter garden, and outdoor spaces with a private pool and landscaped garden. Every aspect of the villa was carefully reconsidered to create a residence that balances luxury with the effortless comfort expected of a summer retreat.
The design concept draws inspiration from the relaxed spirit of Alaçatı, blending traditional textures with contemporary details. Natural materials—such as stone, wood, and locally sourced finishes—were extensively employed to evoke a sense of authenticity and warmth. This material palette not only reinforces the character of the region but also enhances the tactile and visual experience of the interiors. The integration of large openings and transparent transitions ensures that daylight and natural ventilation permeate all spaces, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living.
One of the villa’s defining features is the winter garden, where an elegant electric fireplace has been seamlessly mounted onto a custom marble table, creating an inviting atmosphere for year-round use. The garden and poolside areas are designed as extensions of the living spaces, offering shaded terraces, open-air lounges, and tranquil views, making the home equally suited for social gatherings or intimate family moments.
Through meticulous attention to detail, from material selection to custom furnishings, the project achieves a refined yet relaxed identity—an architectural response that reflects both the essence of Alaçatı and the lifestyle of a luxury summer villa.
